All Levels

An All Levels class will accommodate nearly every student from the beginner to the most accomplished practitioner. Each yoga asana will be built upon in stages, so ideally there is a variation for everyone- the beginner can sink in to the base pose and experienced students can add variations. Every Vinyasa is optional! A great class for moving, breathing, and opening, for exploring your limits and trying something new.

All Levels Lunchbreak

This class takes a multi disciplined approach to posture, integrating traditional yoga, strength building, and therapeutic movement for spinal health and the myriad benefits of good posture. This class is great for people who sit at desks, 50 minutes so you can return to your day lifted, energized, and focused.

Dynamic Flow 1

This is a unique offering from vinyasa where students will have the opportunity to build creativity into their practice through the guidance of body awareness. Students will be led through fluid movement which will implement alternative variations of asanas and familiar sequence sets. Each week, students should continue to gain familiarity with the flow routine which will be changed slightly to offer variations to the warm up and cool down offerings. Students can expect to enjoy the offering for authentic play during this class, and an opportunity to feel empowered about their practice.

Dynamic Flow 2

In this class, students will continue to build on their practice and “brain yoga” capacity. Students will be led through fluid movement which will implement alternative variations of asanas and familiar sequence sets. This class will include a portion of Flow 1 that will build into Flow 2 sequences where students can expect to focus on activation for body strength and possibly taking flight. Student will be encouraged to use their memory at the end of class to flow through the sequence at their own pace on each side without verbal guidance before entering savasana. Students can expect to enjoy the offering for authentic play during this class, and an opportunity to feel empowered about their practice.

Easy, Stretchy

Is your favorite part of class the beginning and the end? Then this is the class for you! As its name suggests - this is a class largely without standing poses. Stay close to the mat, take it easy and stretch.

Finding Flight

These mini-workshop-classes are intended to be challenging, fun, and ideally a transformative experiences— giving students the opportunity to focus on learning & practicing some of the more challenging inversions & balancing poses. In each class we’ll get present on our mats, warm up with some sun salutations, and then play with workshopping possibilities for how to safely approach inversions, arm balances, and other balancing poses; we will close with (hard earned) restoration & rest. Most importantly this class is an opportunity for students to tip-toe towards their edges and to learn courage by couraging.

Foundations

Let’s start from the very beginning.  Our Foundations class will teach you basic yoga postures and breathing techniques, emphasizing correct alignment and allowing time to notice the effect of the poses on the body. It incorporates dynamic breathing, meditation, and the chanting of mantras with the goal being to build physical vitality and spiritual consciousness.

Mindful Flow

This class moves at a breathing pace; integrating creative, thoughtful transitions and asanas for all levels of practice. All with an emphasis on mindfulness- awareness of the breath and awareness of sensations in the body, with options to work more deeply or to go easier- to add or take away. Each class includes a short meditation.

Restorative

Reset with restorative yoga. This practice is all about comfort- the poses are supported by props to allow you to completely relax and rest. Although it may seem similar to yin in that there is less focus on transitions and the asanas are held for up to five minutes, restorative yoga is easier on the joints and muscles. Restorative poses include light twists, seated forward folds, and gentle backbends. It's a meditative and easy practice.

Yin

A nurturing, meditative class for all levels. Beginners welcome, and the more experienced practitioner will have the opportunity to recover and restore. Although we consider Yin to be a Gentle class, the practice can be quite challenging! Asanas are held for longer duration- sometimes several minutes. This class is a phenomenal way to increase flexibility and assess and address imbalances in your body. You will maintain a 'passive' pose which allows access facia and connective tissue for a deeper stretch while you draw your senses inward for a meditative experience.
